Who We Are
Ballet & Beyond NYC nurtures the artist in children by offering free, professional-level ballet training. We remove the entry barriers to ballet and provide opportunities for enrichment, growth and creativity. With this, we instill an understanding and appreciation of ballet in our students.
Our Programs
Ballet and Beyond NYC offers programs during the academic year and summer months. Throughout the school year, Ballet and Beyond NYC collaborates with NYC after-school and community-based organizations to provide training for children in classical ballet, modern dance, and hip hop. During the summer, Ballet and Beyond NYC directs a rigorous 6-week performing arts conservatory in partnership with a musical theater director.
Summer students benefit from training in ballet, modern dance, hip hop, voice, acting and theater dance, and end the summer with a stage performance. All Ballet and Beyond NYC programs prioritize excellence, artistic joy, and self-confidence and strive to reach students who would not otherwise discover consistent dance and performing arts training.
